It’s almost over…
2009 is just on it’s way out and 2010 is right around the corner, just about to pull up into the driveway and knock on our doors. So, even though I don’t want to rush you, its probably around that time when you start to reflect on what you did right this year, what you did wrong and how you will improve over the next 365 days starting on January 1st. Most people are thinking about that fresh start…and what they’ll do to keep their outlook and perspective “fresh.”
Regardless of whether you believe in setting and keeping New Year’s Resolutions or not, the fact is that at the start of every new year, we either physically or mentally jot down a list of goals that we intend to accomplish – be they short term or long term. Whatever it may be – changing careers, traveling more, meeting new people, buying a new house, saving more money, falling in love – whatever it may be, don’t lose focus! It’s possible to achieve and cross some of those goals off your list if you keep a good attitude and work hard towards those goals. Whatever your goals may be, however you approach this “fresh start,” hopefully you will stick to your guns and accomplish at least one of the goals you have on your list.
As January 1st approaches, I hope to be able to round up and share some helpful links that no doubt will pop up on how to set and keep the goals you have set for yourself. Until then, I leave you with one of my personal photographs from 2009. Below is a photograph taken at the Red Rocks Park and Ampitheater in Colorado Springs, CO. It was a great small trip my best friends and I made, and it’s going to be an awesome memory of 2009.
